Great post, it also might be good to state that, all people with a CCW, are intensely investigated, well trained and recorded, then issued there permit by there states Department of Justice, as well as there weapon is also legal, recorded and registered.
But among criminals that commit crimes with guns, in most cases, the gun is not legal or registered, most are stolen, and most perpetrators are untrained in gun safety.
I know of no crime committed involving the use of a gun by a CCW holder.
I say this because I believe most non CCW people know whats involved in being issued a CCW.
