I thought your point was that she can't relate to the point of view of an ordinary citizen who wants to have a CCW for self protection because she is free to carry a sidearm wherever she goes. Therefore, she is patently unable to relate to our desire to obtain a CCW - she doesn't need one to protect herself. She is hypocritical to presume that she can judge our need because she doesn't have the need, and she seems indifferent to other's perception of risk.
Perhaps I real too much into it.
It may have been unwise, or too sharply delivered, but I liked to hear it said anyway...
